There are many benefits to learning styles, they help us deal with situation in a way that makes it easy to learn and complete. When many people with different learning styles interact in a task they take different roles e.g. A pragmatist and a activist are most likely to do the physical work while the reflector and the theorist create a plan and give instructions.
Pragmatist: Learn by experimenting with tasks, usually down to earth and are practical and realistic with in tasks.
Reflector: Learn by spending a lot of time thinking about what they have to do to get a logical conclusion, they are also good listeners.
Activist: Learn by quickly starting a task/project and getting it done as quickly as possible they are also enthusiastic.
Theorist: Learn by asking questions and thinking and doing things logically they have a calm and rational approach to tasks.
I find that I am predominantly a Theorist and Pragmatists learner as I learn by following instructions as I work on a task, as I go and correct any mistakes that I may of made along the way, for example when we were tasked to create a bridge out of 10 pieces of paper and 10 pieces of tape I spent some of my time inspecting the draft model, some doing the construction, and some discussing a logical route to complete the task.
