Using Software to help communicate effectively (P5)

There are many kinds of software that can be used to communicate effectively. A example of this is Voice Over Internet Protocol or "VOIP"

VOIP: Is a software that allows you to make phone calls and text people all over the world using the internet free of charge, using a microphone web cam or any kind of keyboard. Examples of VOIP communication software are Skype, TeamSpeak and Ventrillo.

All three of these communication applications involve communication a lot like a phone call except all three of them include a instant message, however Skype includes video chat when the other two are audio dependent.

Skype: Is a multi purpose Voice Over Internet Protocol as it includes video chat, regular audio chat and instant messaging. Skype can be used in work places to communicate information quickly and effectively, it also can be useful if the business includes over seas branches and can be useful if you need to arrange a meeting without having to pay for travel.  

Ventrillo: Is a audio and text based VOIP software. Ventrillo can be useful  for teams of personal who have separate work  spaces and have to travel to each over to find out information, as a result they can quickly join the Ventrillo server the department is based on and share information quickly and effectively.

TeamSpeak: Is also a audio and text based VOIP software. Unlike Ventrillo Team Speak's servers include a number of channels which can be used to assign channels to specific departments so workers and quickly communicate problems or information to a help desk manager who then will get the problem solved or answer or log the information.

VOIP software's can be useful in a work place effectively as you are able to share information to a variety of people at the same time using either text, audio and video.

However VOIP is only available with the use of technology e.g. computers and mobiles as they are compatible with VOIP software.

In conclusion Voice Over Internet Protocol is very useful for personal and business use as it is able to quickly share information quickly and effectively with no cost unlike phone calls.
